Marina is covering the January edition of the irish “Kiss” magazine and according to Marina it’s the closest she might ever get to being a Greek Britney Spears. The article features no less than 13 pages of Marina, so make sure you check LostAllSensesofControl’s scans out!
Marina has announced that she’ll be working on a fan-film called “Heartcore” while touring the US. There aren’t any more details about it at this stage, all we know is that Sol Republic, a headphone provider, will be involved. That’s what she tweeted about it:
In other news, I’m making a fan film called “HEARTCORE” documenting the tour across the USA. @solrepublic are gonna help me film it.

Marina & The Diamonds is still plugging away with promo for her single “How To Be A Heartbreaker” and on Thursday (December 6) Marina did stop by “The Today Show” to perform the tune. Trading the track’s pummeling production for an acoustic, pared-down rendition, Marina looked and sounded amazing!
There are two new photoshoot images that have been taken by Giselle Mapp at the Kool Haus in Toronto earlier this month. Along with the photos, the photographers has written a bit about her concert experience:
The stage was set up as if we were in Electra Hearts living room. It had posh english wallpaper, a gorgeous persian rug, a fancy coatrack for Marina’s props and outfit changes, and a plush purple lounge chair with fur throws that she would lay on during a few more intimate songs such like ‘Starring Role’ and ‘Teen Idle’. She glitz and glamoured us with her beautiful outfits and operatic voice, and also had us caught in her soft ballads swaying back and forth as she sang from her piano songs like ‘Lies’ and ‘Fear and Loathing’. The performance was just breath taking, and well worth the wait, until the next Marina and the Diamonds show.
On Wednesday (December 5) Marina performed on and we’ve just uploaded two snapshots that have been taken in the studio. For the American Diamonds there’s the possibility to re-watch her performance here, there’s unfortunately no international stream at this point.
As previously posted, Marina stars in the fashion video “Wedding Bells”, promoting Hasan Hejazi’s new line of evening dresses. Along with the photos and the actual short film there’s a behind-the-scenes-video now, allowing you to take, yeah well, a look behind the scenes.
